I became friends with Jan through a Schnauzer page that we were both members of. I could instantly see a kind soul here she was just the nicest person that I had met my wife and I loved her. I'll give you one instance of her kindness and her giving to people.I became disabled years ago at a very young age I was just 40 in 2003. My ability to travel is basically at 0 we had just lost one of our schnauzers and we were totally devastated they're our kids we couldn't have children and this was something that Jan and my wife and I shared together we we're not parents to two-legged kids but 4 legged kids. Her heart was open to our heartbreak and one of her friends who is also the groomer of her dogs had some Schnauzer puppies Jan knew that I couldn't travel so she sends me a message and she says this puppy that's available is the puppy that needs to be in your home and I'm going to make sure it gets to your house and she work through a surgery and getting someone to ride with her and she packed this little puppy and herself up and drove all the way from Tennessee up here to Ohio. We're on the lake we're as far at the end of Ohio as you can get without being in Canada and she brought that puppy to us!I'll never forget it for as long as I live I never forget the first time I got to meet her and her brother-in-law two of the kindest people that we had ever met that's the Jan that I knew and that's the Jan that I keep getting stories being sent through people's websites! She will most definitely be missed it's people like her we need in this world the kind Souls the good Souls! I can honestly say I've been quite devastated over this I've cried a lot the last 30 sum hours since learning of this early yesterday morning and there will be a hole in my daily activities I won't get any more text messages just to say hi or phone call I won't see her comments on the end of a post that I would post or that someone else post when they lost a dog or somebody got a new puppy those are things that will be missed. My heart deeply breaks for the family because you definitely lost one wonderful person in your family. Prayers being prayed to all that knew and loved Jan. We must thank God Almighty that He had allowed us to know her even just for the short time that we did because each of us are a better person because of knowing her. Until we meet again in Heaven Jan we will miss you.
