Dear Lengel Family,

My association with Jim goes back to before we were born. His father and my mother, Dorothy, grew up together in the coal fields of western Pennsylvania. Then we all ended up in Newbury, enjoying visits back and forth and trips to the Yatesboro, PA., area. I remember one trip when Jim and his brothers threw dead critters at me from the broken out upstairs window of an old company house. Then we pulled up old spikes out of the unused tracks. Fun times and many fond memories. All of my memories of Jim were of the good guy he was, even when tossing dead critters. I know he will be missed by his family. May the many memories you have of him sustain you in the days ahead. His mark on the world will be remembered and missed. Much love to all of you

Sincerely

Dearest Katy... So, so sorry to hear about Jim. I hate that this stupid virus has put all of us in a situation that we can't help you at this sad time. I'll never forget the evening we spent with you and Jim at your home. He was a light in your life and we send prayers and blessings that his spirit will stay with you. Love you dearly, Katy. Hugs and kisses to you and your family.
