Vivian Lois Silvers, 89, Jonesborough passed away Monday, July 20, 2020 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Johnson City and was a daughter of the late Roscoe and Lakie Arrowood Stockton. Mrs. Silvers was a homemaker and was a member of the Full Gospel Holiness Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters. Survivors include two sons, Jerry Silvers of Johnson City and Jason Silvers and his wife, Tammy of Kingsport; a daughter, Carolyn Kinnick and husband, Steve of Jonesborough; a brother, A.J. Stockton and wife, Margaret of Jonesborough; two sisters, Alda Farmer of Flag Pond and Sarah Stockton and husband, Steven of Johnson City; seven grandchildren, Jeremy and Seth Kinnick, Amber Davenport, Joshua, Matthew and Ethan Silvers and Christina Maness and husband, Jimmy Maness Jr.; great-grandchildren, Makayla Davenport, Hunter Davenport, Kaley, Kelli and Gabrianna Silvers; a great-great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Silvers will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday, July 24, 2020 in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the service hour. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday in the Roselawn Memory Gardens.
