Virgil James Houston

Virgil Houston, 72, 745 Georgia Street, Johnson City passed away Friday, April 19, 2013 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and was a son of the late Jessie and Esther Rosenbaum Houston. Mr. Houston had worked as a brick mason for many years before retirement. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Derek Houston and a brother, Jerry Houston. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Dugger Houston of the home; a son, Brian Houston and his wife, Vicki of Kingsport; two grandsons, Joshua and Jared Houston; two sisters, Wanda Hill, Jonesborough and Sheila Harrison of Greeneville; also several nieces and nephews. It was Mr. Houston's wish to be cremated and no formal services. Condolences may be mailed to the home or to www.wadugger.com. Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home, 108 W.
