Toney Hylmon

Toney "Ronnie" Hylmon, 69, 510 W. Main Street, Jonesborough passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 at his residence. He was a native of Unicoi County and was a son of the late Alfred G. and Aldaree Sparks Hylmon. Mr. Hylmon was a Vietnam Veteran having served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a self-employed truck driver. Mr. Hylmon was a member of the Jonesborough VFW. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tara Frazier and a brother, Jimmy Hylman. Survivors include four sons, Michael Floyd Hylman and Dale Harding both of Jonesborough, Allen Baines of Knoxville and Brian Baines of Bristol; a sister, Eva Dowd of Johnson City; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a special friend, Kathy Phillips of Jonesborough; also several nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Mr. Hylmon will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 15, 2015 in the Maplelawn Cemetery, Jonesborough with Mr. Allen Baines officiating. For those attending this service you are asked to meet at the cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
