Tice Lane Harvell, 78, Johnson City passed away Thursday, July 18, 2019 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and was a son of the late Vernon Lane Harvell and Jessie Swanner Harvell. Mr. Harvell was a machine operator and had worked in construction most of his life. He was a member of Milligan Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey L. Haun and Mickey L. Haun; a brother, Johnny Harvell; a sister, Marjorie Hurd.Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Emily Geraldine Arrowood Harvell; a son, Vernon Lane Harvell of Johnson City; a sister, Sue Herman and husband, Eugene; a granddaughter, Shameika Guy and husband, Jamie of Elizabethton; two great-granddaughters, Makia Wilson and Mailey Guy; two great-grandsons, Malikhi Campbell and Rhodie Harrison; also several nieces and nephews.Graveside services for Mr. Harvell will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 21, 2019 at Roselawn Memory Gardens, Johnson City with Pastor Mark Street officiating. Pallbearers will be Jamie Guy, Malikhi Campbell, Braxton Johnson, Thomas Mink, Jimmy Lee Arrowood and Jimmy Arrowood.
