I just came across this looking for someone else. I knew Terry from Dawn of Hope. I was a DSP at the workshop and Terry was in my group of service recipients. He was a complete joy to be around. He loved listening to music. He always had his lunch box and notebook with him. Terry was a friend to everyone one.

I got to know Terry from the Dawn of Hope and serving as his ISC. He was a good man who loved his radio and truly appreciated the people who cared for him.

I have spent almost my entire adult life in Sacramento and through my own choices and somewhat bad decisions I didn't go home to Tennessee nearly as often as I should - therefore, I did not spend enough time with my brother Terry , or brother Keith , who also recently passed away on April 18th of this year. Now that fact is troubling me and I realize that life is short and precious - take it from me if you read this - spend your time with your family because when they are gone you cannot get that time back .

I will miss my brother - I will be in TN on June 20 and I will see you then - I love you and will miss you Terry.

I wish I could have met my uncle Terry in my adulthood. It seems from everyone's comments that he was a very sweet man. Michael, you live close to me in Sacramento, and I had no idea until recently how close you have been living to me my entire life. I wish I could have reconnected with my father Keith before he passed. I understand now that life is too short and precious. I wish you and your brother Doug all the best, and perhaps some day we can all reconnect and you can fill me in on all the stories of Terry and Keith. Take care.
