Tari Jean Whitson, 71, Bluff City passed away Tuesday, December 14, 2021 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Johnson City and was the daughter of the late Herbert and Mildred Peters Gibson. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Gibson. Survivors include her husband, Gary Dean Whitson; her daughter, Brandy Arnett and her husband, Rick of Richmond, Virginia.
