Tammy Beth Norman, 56, 208 Mosier Road, Johnson City died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Norman was a native of Carter County and had lived in Johnson City all of her life. She was the daughter of the late Hobert and Bernice Persinger Stanley. Mrs. Norman was a member of the Upper Room Family Worship Center in Johnson City. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Hobie Stanley. Survivors include her husband Charles Norman Jr., two sons: Charlie and Beth Norman (Johnson City, TN), Josh and Lorie Norman (Hiltons, VA), nine grandchildren: Bronson, Madeline, Maximus, Mason, Titus, Evelyn, Tiberius, Jaxon and Jake, one brother, Percy Stanley of Watauga and one sister, Elaine Johnson of Ohio: also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Norman will be conducted at 7:00 PM Saturday. March 12, 2016 in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City with Pastor Richard Smith officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until the service hour. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from the family and friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be the staff of the Wellmont Cancer Center. For those attending this service you asked to meet at the funeral home by 1:30 to go in procession to the cemetery.
