Tammy Ann Johnson, 57, of Johnson City went to be with her Heavenly Father Saturday, December 2, 2017 in the Johnson City Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Tammy was known as the best cake decorator and friend that anyone could ever know. She had worked for Food City for 18 years and loved her job and co-workers. Tammy is preceded in death by her father, Bill Johnson and grandfather, Ed Burrow.   Survivors include her mother, Shirley Burrow Johnson; her brother, Danny Johnson both of the home; a sister, Cindy Case and her husband, Rick of Johnson City; a niece, Sherry Case of Johnson City; a great-niece and nephew, Kaley and Tyler Cousins; their father, Jason Cousins; her grandmother, Charles Bernice Burrow of Elizabethton; a great aunt, Dorothy Burrow; her uncles, Kenneth Burrow and wife, Sue, Dean Burrow and wife, Linda and Eddie Burrow and wife, Wanda; her aunt, Patsy Gibson and husband, Danny all of Elizabethton;  also several cousins. The family would like to send special thanks for all the love and support from Food City employees and all of the nursing staff on the 4th floor of Johnson City Medical Center. The family also wants to send special gratitude and love to our extended family and friends of a lifetime, Rosey Tucker, Teresa Johnson, Carson and Jeff Alexander all of Limestone. Tammy was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be forever remembered and her good deeds will be carried out by all who loved her and she will live on through them. At Tammy’s request, she did not want a service, but would rather everyone remember all of the happy times you spent with her and continue the love she gave to countless others on in her memory.
