Sue Presnell

Sue "Sue P' Presnell, 70, 1105 Claiborne Street, Johnson City went home to be with her Lord, Thursday, May 21, 2015 in the Johnson City Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was a native of Johnson City and a daughter of the late James and Mabel Ellis Nolen. Mrs. Presnell attended the Division Street Church of God. She had worked for Big Lots for many years. Mrs. Presnell loved her flowers, garden and her fur babies. She was a huge Elvis fan and a reader and was a lover of classic movies. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lee Newton Presnell in 1983. Survivors include two daughters, Suzy Presnell of Johnson City and Tracey Smith and her husband, Doug of Elizabethton; two sisters, Shirley Shipley of Johnson City and Rita Blevins of Ringgold, GA. Several nieces and nephews; also her Lula bell, Joey, Gracie and Little Man; a longtime special friend, Linda Stout. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 30, 2015 in the chapel of Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
