Steve A. Smallman

Steve A. Smallman, 58, 1111 E. Lakeview Drive Apt.#2, Johnson City passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and was a son of Dorothy Price Griffith and the late Johnny Smallman. Mr. Smallman attended the Wayside Baptist Church. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Jenkins. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Humphrey Smallman; his mother, Dorothy Price Griffith and her husband, Gene of Johnson City; two daughters, Angela Frazier and Rebecca Whaley; a son, Kenneth Whaley; a sister, Edith Foster; three brothers, Fred, Bobby and Gary Smallman all of Johnson City; four grandchildren, Brittany Collins, Michael Whaley, Amber Frazier and Dominic Whaley; also several nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Mr. Smallman will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, September 1, 2012 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park with the Rev. Jack Maupin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 11:30 until 12:30 PM then proceed to the cemetery for the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
