Sandra Goodge Giroux, 80, Johnson City passed away Monday, May 27, 2019 at The Waters of Johnson City. She was a native of Tampa, Florida and had lived in Virginia Beach before moving to Johnson City in 2000. Mrs. Giroux was a daughter of the late Theodore and Lucille Cowart Goodge. She had worked as an CNA for many years before retirement. Mrs. Giroux was a member of Maranatha Tabernacle in Unicoi. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Armstrong.Survivors include her children, Brenda McDermott, Martha Viduski, Hershel Armstrong, William Rollie Armstrong and Helena Delena Armstrong; her very special friends, Penny Mueller, Mary Boggs, Brenda Tester and Shelby Malone. Several grandchildren.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the City View Apartments, 810 Briarcliff Road, Johnson City with Pastor E.L. Wheeler officiating. Special music will be provided by Queenie Wheeler and Earl Fannon. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Washington County Animal Shelter.Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 108 W. It won't be the same with her away. I know she is being well cared for by someone that loves her more than any. She is without earthly struggles and daily battles with pain. My sympathies with all that loved and miss her
