Roslie Tester, 80, of Pigeon Creek Road, Greeneville went home to be with the Lord Friday, May 1, 2015 surrounded by her children and loved ones. She was a native of Washington County and was a daughter of the late Grady and Minnie Price Tester. Roslie was retired from Meco Industries and was very active after her retirement. She was a member of the Sherman Hollow Pentecostal Church in Parrottsville, Tennessee where she will be greatly missed by her church family. Roslie enjoyed traveling and looked forward to going on cruises and to the beach with her family. Everyone knew her for her love of wearing beautiful clothes. She was an avid gardener and loved to fill her yard with colorful blooms. Her greatest joy in life was her family and loved being with them often. Roslie will be sadly missed by her children, grandchildren, brothers, sister, family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Anita Partin; younger brother, Bobby Tester; two infant brothers, Jerry and Junior Tester and two grandchildren, Amanda Zaari and Nicholas Partin. Survivors include her daughters, Kathy S. Stancil and husband, Kenny of Townsend, Montana, Sandra Hoilman and husband, Dennis of Johnson City; JoAnn Coleman of Newport and Karen Moncier and husband, James of Greeneville; her sons, Buddy Lee Coleman and wife, Teresa of Greeneville, David Coleman and wife, Kristian of Greeneville, Grant Coleman and wife, Christine of Greeneville and Chuck Partin of Johnson City; Roslie had twenty-five grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren; a special niece, Tammy Lister; a sister, Virginia Franklin and husband, Clyde of Parrottsville; two brothers, Roy Tester and wife, Loretta of Johnson City and Dale Tester and wife, Sandy of Greeneville; a special aunt, Betty Tester; also several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Roslie will be conducted at 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 5, 2015 in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City with the Rev. Terry Franklin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until the service hour. Interment will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 6, 2015 in the Roselawn Memory Gardens, Johnson City. Active pallbearers will be Jeff Hoilman, Kenneth Coleman, Micah Moncier, Josh Kelley, Corey Coleman and Matthew Jacob Coleman. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Caris HealthCare with special thanks to Diahn Earley, Janet Varney, Ashley Bitner and Darlene Franklin. For those attending this service you are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50 AM.
