Ronald (Jake) Lambert

Ronald (Jake) Lambert, 75, formerly of 100 W. Pine Street, Johnson City passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in the Four Oaks Health Care Center in Jonesborough. He was a native of Bluefield, Virginia and a son of the late Peery and Eunice Irene Craig Lambert. Mr. Lambert was retired from Roselawn Memory Gardens where he had been employed for many years. Jake was a very likeable person and was a friend to many. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Yvonne D'Andrea; two brothers, Buddy and James Lambert; a sister, Naomi Asbury and a brother-in-law, Garney Lusk. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Mascaro of Charleston, WV; three sons, Jamey Mascaro and his wife, Myra of Johnson City, Teddy Mascaro and his wife, Peggy of Charleston, WV and Butch Woodyard and his wife, Terri, Alabama; a daughter, Cindy Warren and her husband, John of Pennsylvania; a sister, Jean Louise Lusk of Bluefield, VA; eleven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Lambert will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, February 10, 2012 in the Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home with the Rev. Darrell Slagle and Pastor Larry Lusk officiating. Burial will follow in the Roselawn Memory Gardens, Johnson City. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 12:30 PM until the service time. The family would like to give special thanks to the Caris Hospice Group and the entire staff of Four Oaks Health Care Center.
