Roland F. Savage, 75, 1825 Glen Echo Road, Johnson City passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 in the James H. Quillen V.A. Medical Center. He was a native of Philadelphia, PA and had lived in Washington County since 2002. Mr. Savage was a son of the late Edward and Mildred Smith Savage. He was a Banker having worked many years with the Equitable Trust Bank before retirement. Mr. Savage was a member of the Catholic faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lorri Savage and a brother, Edward Savage. Survivors include a daughter, Beth S. Fleming and husband, Ronald of Johnson City; a son, Mark M. Savage and wife, Annette of Johnson City; a sister, Roseanne Tennerelli and husband, Bill of New Jersey; two brothers, Rich Savage and wife, Mary of Texas and Dave Savage and wife, Janice of New Jersey; five grandchildren, Jessica and Lindsey Savage, Bradley Fleming, Katie Martin and husband, Myron and Erin Sparks and husband, Matt; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in the Happy Valley Memorial Park, Elizabethton with the Boone Dam VFW Honor Guard Detail providing Military Rites.
