Roland F. Savage

Roland F. Savage, 75, 1825 Glen Echo Road, Johnson City passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 in the James H. Quillen V.A. Medical Center. He was a native of Philadelphia, PA and had lived in Washington County since 2002. Mr. Savage was a son of the late Edward and Mildred Smith Savage. He was a Banker having worked many years with the Equitable Trust Bank before retirement. Mr. Savage was a member of the Catholic faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lorri Savage and a brother, Edward Savage. Survivors include a daughter, Beth S. Fleming and husband, Ronald of Johnson City; a son, Mark M. Savage and wife, Annette of Johnson City; a sister, Roseanne Tennerelli and husband, Bill of New Jersey; two brothers, Rich Savage and wife, Mary of Texas and Dave Savage and wife, Janice of New Jersey; five grandchildren, Jessica and Lindsey Savage, Bradley Fleming, Katie Martin and husband, Myron and Erin Sparks and husband, Matt; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in the Happy Valley Memorial Park, Elizabethton with the Boone Dam VFW Honor Guard Detail providing Military Rites. Everyone attending this service is asked to meet at the cemetery. There will be no formal visitation.
