Robin A. Cline, 48, 128 Fox Road, Johnson City passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 in the Johnson City Medical Center after a brief illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. Mrs. Cline was a daughter of the late Chester Walden and Peggy Lamons Walden Woodruff. She was a homemaker and loved to work crossword puzzles, music and especially loved her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Oscar, Guinn and Larry Walden. Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Rob C. Cline; three children, Alex Cline, Lauren Cline and Natalie Cline all of the home; three brothers, Robert, Charles and Randy Walden all of Johnson City; four sisters, Dee Wescot of Rutherfordton, NC, Joan Castle and Ruby Huffine both of Johnson City and Shirley Bradley of Boston; also many nieces and nephews survive. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 7:00 PM Monday, August 25, 2014 in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City with the Rev. Gene Deaton officiating. A visitation period to share memories and offer support to the family will be held at 5:00 PM and continue until the service hour. Private interment will be held at Monte Vista Memorial Park, Johnson City. The family would like to give special thanks to all of her friends, family and extended family of Snyder Signs for the compassion that has been given to the family.
