Richard Allen Warren, 59, 211 Spring Drive, Johnson City passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 in the Lakebridge Health Care Center. He was a native of Carter County and a son of the late James Edward Warren Sr. and Wilhelminia Hager Warren. Mr. Warren was a 1974 graduate of Happy Valley High School. He was a truck driver for Moore Freight Company, Mascot, TN. Mr. Warren was a veteran having served his country in the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert L. Warren Sr., Charles Warren Sr., William "Bill" Warren and David O. Warren Sr. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Ingram Warren; a daughter, Victoria Gibson and husband, C.J. of Alabama; a son, James Robert Murray of Johnson City; three brothers, James Warren Jr. and wife, Linda of Jonesborough, Thomas Warren and friend, Gregory Watterson of Kingsport and Daniel Warren and wife, Sharon of Jonesborough; a sister, Betty Tibbs and husband, Frank of Jonesborough; three granddaughters, Tiffany Smithpeters, Katie West and Jamie Meader; a grandson, James Dylan Murray; several nieces and nephews; also a special friend, Guy "Bandit" Runion. Funeral services for Mr. Warren will be conducted at 7:00 PM Thursday, December 18, 2014 in the chapel of Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home with Pastor James Byrd and Rev. Robert Warren Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until the service hour. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, December 19, 2014 in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the Boone Dam VFW Honor Guard Detail. Pallbearers will be selected from the family and friends. For those attending this service you are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:30 PM to go in procession to the cemetery. Visitation: Thursday December 18 2014 - 5:00 to 7:00 PM Services: Thursday - 7:00 PM Interment: Friday 1:00 PMN
