Reva B. Curtis

Reva B. Curtis, 96, Johnson City, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020, at the Signature Health Care Center of Elizabethton. She was a native of Sevier County and was the daughter of the late Wallace and Anna Mae Romines Vance. Mrs. Curtis was an active member of the Boones Creek United Methodist Church until her health prohibited her attending. She volunteered for many years with the American Red Cross and worked in the hospitality business in her younger years. Mrs. Curtis enjoyed traveling and was an avid reader. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Curtis in 2019; two daughters, Rosemary Pappas and Teresa Miller; sisters, Iva and Patsy; a brother, Roy Vance and grandson, Michael Keen. Survivors include a son, Luther Curtis Jr. and wife, Susan, of Ringgold, GA; grandchildren, Christopher and Cami; sister-in-law, Kathy Lentz and husband, Don, of Oak Ridge; special friends, Gale and Lula Gray of Jonesborough. The family would like to offer thanks to the staff of Signature Health Care Center of Elizabethton and Caris Hospice for the loving care they provided.
