Paul James Walter, 62, Johnson City passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Richmond, Indiana and was a son of the late Paul and Barbara Anderson Walter. Mr. Walter was of the Baptist faith. He was a plumber and had owned and operated his plumbing business for many years. Mr. Walter enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping with his family, especially at Roan Mountain State Park. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Walter; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Betty Anderson; his mother-in-law, Beulah Watts and his step-father, Roy Necessary.Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Pamela Loper Walter; a son, Jamey Walter of Johnson City; a sister, Rhonda Way and a brother, Scott Walter both of Johnson City; two grandchildren, Logan and Jayda Walter; a sister-in-law, Terri Bridges and husband, Mark; a brother-in-law, Glenn Loper and wife, Louise; nieces, Mary, Christy, Lemy and Paige; nephews, Brandon, Tony and Sam; special friends, Wayne Deakins, Jeff Miller, Jeff Mayes and Mike Dowdy; also several great-nieces and nephews.A Celebration of Life service will be held and announced at a later date. Was so sad to hear about Pauls passing, he was absolutly a one of a kind guy, and good friend. I'll miss talking to him about hunting and fishing, and that laugh of his. Pam, you call if you need anything. Our prayers are sent out daily for you and your family. Love you guys.
