Patti Anne Samples

Patti Anne Samples, 55, of Snellville, Georgia went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at her residence. She was a native of Haleyville, Alabama. Mrs. Samples was the daughter of Sam and Ozell Flippo. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband, John R. Samples; two daughters, Ginger Tucker and her husband, Christian of Huntersville, NC and Amanda Samples of Snellville, GA; a grandson, Noah Reese Tucker; four sisters-in-law, Betty Whittemore and her husband, Tom, Sarah Gentry and her husband, Wayne, Shelby Head and Sharon Samples all of Johnson City; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Mrs. Samples will be conducted at 2:30 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2012 in the Roselawn Memory Gardens with the Rev. Harold McNabb officiating. The family will receive friends at the Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home, Tuesday, from 1:00 until 2:00 PM then go in procession to the cemetery.
