Patsy Langford Taylor, 75,  of Johnson City, went to be with the Lord on  Tuesday, November 13th,  after an extended Illness.  She was a native of Carter County and a 1960 graduate of Elizabethton High School.​Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 55 years, Jerry Taylor and two daughters: Lori Case and husband, Darrell; and Lisa Wilson, who have lovingly cared for her during her illness:  two granddaughters: Brittni Case Jones and husband, Dustin,  Miranda Case, and fiancé, Josh Austin; one great-granddaughter, Casey Jones, who lit up her life, and was looking forward to the arrival of Lasey in the coming months; two sisters:  Helen Harris of Johnson City, and Beth Busler and husband, Bobby of Nashville, one brother, Larry Langford and wife, Angie of Hilham, TN;   several nieces and nephews.​​She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Davison, her step-dad, Charles Davison, her dad, Lannie Langford, and brother, Eddie Langford; also, one grandson, Brandon Case.​​Pat was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, great-grandmother, who enjoyed laughing and having fun with her family and friends.  She enjoyed gardening and was​known for the beautiful tomatoes she grew, and even had an article published in one of the gardening magazines.  She was very talented at sewing and crocheting, and loved making things for her  family.  Reading was a favorite past-time, and she was very knowledgable on so many topics.  She was the family’s personal “Siri”, and could answer most of our questions.  She also enjoyed painting scenery and was a fan of Bob Ross.​Funeral services for Mrs. Taylor will be conducted at 12:00 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in the Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Case officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the service hour. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday in the Taylor Cemetery, off Lick Branch Road, Stoney Creek.
