Patricia Cox

Patricia "Patty" Cox, 64, 1725 Todd Drive, Johnson City passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 in the Franklin Woods Community Hospital. She was a native of Johnson City and was the daughter of the late Hobert and Beulah Dean Hoilman Dugger. Patty was an extraordinary mother and loving grandmother. She put her family first at all costs. Patty was always giving of her time and heart. She was loved by many and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Patty loved to go fishing anytime she got the chance. She was a wonderful wife and soul mate to her husband, who always loved spending every second of her wonderful life with. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Hobert Ray Dugger Jr. Survivors include her loving husband, Ricky L. Cox; a daughter, Sherry Ranee Hunt and husband, William of Sulphur Springs; a son, Benny Lee Branum Jr. and fiancAC.e, Lindsay Huffine; a step-daughter, Michelle Cox; two step-sons, Brian Abel and Jason Stout all of Johnson City; a brother, Tommy Dugger of Johnson City; ten grandchildren, Lillian, Harper Grace, Billy, Jacob, Cole, Jessica, Macy, Payton, Austin and Sierra; two great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Patty will be conducted at 7:00 PM Friday, April 1, 2016 in the Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home; the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until the service hour. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 2, 2016 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. For those attending this service you are asked to meet at the funeral home by 10:30 AM to go in procession to the cemetery.
