Norma Lee Sluss, 75, 615 E. Unaka Avenue, Johnson City went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 15, 2014 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County and was the daughter of the late Charlie and Agnes Pauline Rose. Mrs. Sluss had worked for Klopman Mills and attended Mountain View Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Clinton Sluss in 2010 and a nephew, Charles Daniel Rose. Survivors include a son, Timothy Sluss and his wife, Mary Lou of Jonesborough; a daughter, Debra lee Guinn Wilson of Johnson City; a brother, Eddie Rose and wife, Robin of Jonesborough; four grandchildren, Robert Teague, Matthew Bowling, LeAnne Murvin and Jeremiah Shaw; three great-grandchildren, Evan, Katie and Brasen Murvin. Funeral services for Mrs. Sluss will be conducted at 1:45 PM Friday, October 17, 2014 in the chapel of Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home with Pastor James Cambron officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home form 12:30 PM until the service hour. Interment will follow in the Mountain Home National Cemetery.
