Nadine C. Miller, 63, 715 Nathaniel Court, Apt. 91, Johnson City passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 27, 2013 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and was a daughter of the late Laney and Amanda Johnson Copas. Mrs. Miller was employed for years at Ward Antiques. She was a member of the New Vision Church of God in Johnson City. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, J.W., Bobby and Jackie Copas; half brother, Horace Copas; two half-sisters, Naomi Dayton and Omi Grace. Survivors include four daughters, Mary Ellen Killian, Paula Denise Ward both of Johnson City, Carrie Ann Price and husband, Johnny of Gray and Becky Sue Hampton and husband, Allen, Johnson City; husband, William (Bucky) Miller, Johnson City; a sister, Wanda Carver and three brothers, Maynard Copas, Buster Copas and wife, Linda and Spencer Copas and wife, Joann all of Johnson City; her first husband and father of her children, Paul Ward of Johnson City; twelve grandchildren; eight grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Miller will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 2, 2013 in the Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home with the Rev. Russell Ward officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherokee Baptist Church Cemetery, Jonesborough. Pallbearers will be Shane Huffman, Chris Hyatt, Allen Hampton, Johnny Price, Terry Trivette Jr. and Joseph Trivette. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 12:30 PM until the service hour.
