Mrs. Mary Lee Wilson, 85, of Elizabethton went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the home of her daughter. She was a native of Asheville, NC and was a daughter of the late Burgin and Emma Melton Edwards. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Keystone Freewill Baptist Church. She worked at Magnavox for 15 years and retired from Pharmaseal Incorporated after 15 years there. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, J.V. Wilson in 2013; two sons, Gary Lynn Wilson and Terry Lee Wilson; four brothers, Paul, Ben, Jim and Burl Edwards. Survivors include a son, Larry D. Wilson and wife, Vickie of Johnson City; a daughter, Kathy Garst and her husband, Bobby of Johnson City;  a sister, Hattie Jones and husband, Don of Johnson City; three sisters-in-law, Edith Stewart, Thelma Edwards of Winston-Salem and Ruby Edwards of Johnson City; seven grandchildren, Shane Wilson and wife, Jessee, Allan Garst and wife, Jaime, Scotty Garst, Kenneth Wilson, Timmy Wilson, Misty Krueger and Caleb Wilson; thirteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the Keystone Freewill Baptist Church, Johnson City with Rev. Bill Greer and Rev. Mark Street officiating. Music will be provided by Mrs. Brenda Deloach. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 AM until the service hour. Graveside services will follow in the Roselawn Memory Park. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Amedisys Hospice, Edith Stewart, Tim Lamb, Amanda Copas, Christine Laws and Allan Buchanan for the compassionate love and care they provided. Condolences may be made online at www.wadugger.com.
