Marilyn Frances Presnell

Marilyn Frances Presnell, 65, of Gray passed away Friday, June 29, 2012 at her residence. She was a native of Unicoi County and was a daughter of the late Dewey and Polly Hicks Hopson. Mrs. Presnell was a homemaker and a member of the Liberty Church in Blountville. She enjoyed gardening, especially her flowers and loved her family very much. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Presnell in 2000; a daughter, Regina Susan Presnell in 2008; a sister, Florine Teague and a brother, Johnny Hopson. Survivors include a son, Mark Presnell and his wife, Christina of Gray; a brother, Billy Hopson and his wife, Martha; two sisters, Delores Markland and Barbara Hopson all of Johnson City; a grandson, Christopher Presnell and a granddaughter, Tiffany Presnell; a sister-in-law, Frances Gillenwater of Gray; many special friends; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Mrs. Presnell will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 3, 2012 in the Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Presnell and Rev. Nathan Salyers officiating. Internment will follow in the Snyders Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:30 until 2:00 PM.
