Lois Marie Hartley, 79, Johnson City went home to be with the Lord, March 13, 2020 in the Durham-Hensley Nursing Home. She was a native of Kingsport and was a daughter of the late Clarence and Ethel Nicely Tribble. Mrs. Hartley was a charter member of the Full Gospel Holiness Church in Johnson City where her husband the late Rev. Jessie Hartley was the founding pastor. She worked and supported him and the church faithfully for over 50 years. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Copas; four brothers, Clarence Jr., Gary, Allen and Donnie Tribble; a sister, Dorothy Ayers; a great-granddaughter, Hailey Palmer. Survivors include her children, Steve Hartley and wife, Sophia of Telford, Billy Hartley and wife, Brenda of Jonesborough and Linda Bridwell of Johnson City; adopted daughter, Marie Bigliardi and husband, Scott of Bluff City; a sister, Virginia Green of Elizabethton; grandchildren, Stevie Hartley Jr., Kelvin “Dinky” Hartley, Brandon Hartley, Joy Hartley, Missy Bridwell, Robert Bridwell and Jeffery Palmer; fourteen great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Hartley will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Full Gospel Holiness Church, 2225 N. Greenwood Drive, Johnson City with Rev. Stevie Hartley Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the service hour. Entombment will follow in the Washington County Memory Gardens.
