Linda L. Honeycutt, 51, 168 Miller Hill Road, Johnson City passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 in the Franklin Woods Community Hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and was a daughter of Carl Roy Miller and the late Helen Stroller Miller. Linda was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed knitting, working in flowers and most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandson. Survivors include her loving husband, Fred Honeycutt of the home; her father, Carl Roy Miller and his wife, Patricia of Johnson City; a son, Derek Honeycutt and Ashley of Elizabethton; a daughter, Chasity Honeycutt of Johnson City; a grandson, Ethan Chance Webb; a granddaughter, Brianna Honeycutt; four brothers, Carl Walter Miller and wife, Glenda, Tiny Roy Miller, Johnny Wayne Miller and wife, Melissa and Philip Miller and wife, Kim; a sister, Lora Tipton and husband, Wayne; a special aunt, Charlotte Feathers; very special and close family members, Carl Allen Miller, Philip Zeth Miller, Bridgett Tipton and little Angel; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Linda will be conducted at 12:00 noon Saturday, May 28, 2016 in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home with the Rev. Buddy Cretsinger officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the service hour. Interment will follow in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
