Kimberly Mae (Shipley) Franklin

Kimberly Mae Franklin, 30, of Gray passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Washington County and was a daughter of Donald Edward Shipley and Brenda Osborne Shipley of Gray. Kimberly was a stay at home mom and loved her family very much. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Charles and Stella Osborne; her grandmother, Tannie Shipley and an uncle, Rick Carter.Survivors in addition to her parents include her husband, Alex Franklin; two daughters, Laileigh and Braileigh Franklin; a sister, Kelly Burleson and husband, Michael; mother-in-law, Brenda Franklin; father-in-law, Eddie Franklin; nephews, Andy and Luke Burleson; also several aunts, uncles and cousins.A memorial service for Kimberly will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in the Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City with Pastor David Dugger officiating. Special music will be provided by the Singing Duggers.
