Kathleen M. Maupin

Kathleen M. Maupin, 61, Johnson City passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Los Angeles, CA and was a daughter of the late Ray and Frances Hale Pearson. Mrs. Maupin was a member of the Wayside Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie, Donnie and Thomas Hale. Survivors include her husband, Pastor Jack L. Maupin of the home; a daughter, Catrina Morton; two sons, Shawn Morton and Aaron Thomas; step-sons, Noel Maupin, Phillip Maupin and wife, Sylvia, Kenneth Maupin and wife, Brandi, Jackie Maupin and wife, Jennifer; a step-daughter, Joy Burrell; a sister, Cindy Hale; three grandchildren. A memorial service for Mrs. Maupin will be conducted at 6:00 PM Friday, September 22, 2017 at Wayside Baptist Church, Watauga Road, Johnson City with Pastor Steve Hilman officiating.
