Karen Marie (Mickelson) Rieck

Karen M. Rieck, 73, Johnson City passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Salt lake City, Utah and had lived in Michigan before moving to Johnson City in 2009. Mrs. Rieck was a daughter of the late Hans and Ethel Hill Mickelson. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David S. Rieck in 2009; a sister, Shaye Roach and a brother, Dennis Mickelson.   Survivors include a daughter, Michele Cox and her husband, Greg of Fall Branch, TN; a son, Bob Rieck and his wife, Mary of Oak Hills, CA; three grandchildren, Cody McGuire, Kaitlyn Rieck and Holly Rieck; three step-grandchildren, Andrew Cox and wife, Brittany, Matthew Cox and Lindsey Cox; a great-granddaughter, Emerson Lynn Cox; also several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Mrs. Rieck will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, October 13, 2017 in the Pioneer Cemetery, Old Stage Road, Grant Township, MI.
