Joseph "Joey' Morgan, 36, 2105 Miller Lane, Johnson City passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at his residence. He was a native of Greene County and was the son of Vickie Walls of Johnson City and Terry Morgan of Chuckey. Mr. Morgan had worked in drywall construction most of his life. Survivors in addition to his parents include a son, Michael James Morgan of the home; a brother, Jason Lynn Morgan of Johnson City; a sister, Alicia Martin and husband, Steven of Chuckey; two nieces, Summer Ray Martin and Saffeara Ann Martin; an uncle, Billy Walls of Johnson City; an aunt, Tina Bennett of Johnson City; his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Phyllis Walls of Johnson City; his paternal grandparents, Frank and Ruth Morgan of Chuckey; his step-father, Warren Penley of Chuckey; two cousins, Josh Walls and Matthew Severance; also a host of friends. A memorial service will be conducted at ^;00 PM Thursday, December 3, 2015 in the Calvary Baptist Church, Hart Avenue, Johnson City with Pastor Jim Chatman officiating.
