Johnnie Renee Branson, 51, 902 Pardee Street, Johnson City passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 8, 2014 at her residence. She was a native of Charlotte, NC but had lived most of her life in Johnson City. Mrs. Branson was a daughter of Dorothy Brandon Potter of Johnson City and the late Charles A. Branson. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fountain of Life Church of Johnson City. Survivors in addition to her mother includes two sons, Johnathan Branson and Jesse Tesneary both of Jonesborough; three sisters, Rhonda Alexander Price, Mary Jeannette Fitzgerald and Adrian S. Branson all of Johnson City; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Branson will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City with the Rev. Mike Abel officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the service hour. Internment will follow in the Maplelawn Cemetery, Jonesborough. Pallbearers will be selected from the family and friends. Visitation: Wednesday February 12 2014 - 1:00 to 2:00 PM Services: Wednesday - 2:00 PM Interment: Maplelawn Cemetery Jonesborough TennesseeN
