John "Jackie" Baldasano, III, age 69, of Johnson City, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Kingsport, he was the son of the late John Robert Baldasano, Jr, and Madeline Ford Baldasano. Mr. Baldasano retired from Alcoa Industries, and he officiated high school sports, including Basketball, Softball, and Football for nearly 30 years. He was a member of Locust Street Church of Christ. Mr. Baldasano was a sweet hearted man and always had a positive attitude. He was known to always have a smile on his face. Survivors include his daughter, Renee Bailey, Johnson City; two sons, Sam Baldasano (Paula), Knoxville, and Joseph Baldasano, Kentucky. Several cousins also survive. The graveside service for Mr. Baldasano will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Fairview Church Cemetery, Jonesborough with Pastor Barry Blackburn officiating. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:00 P.M. Saturday to travel in procession to the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested the memorial donations be made to help in the cost of funeral costs. Woodall-Anderson & Dugger Funeral Home and Cremation Services108 W.
