Janice Ann Halman

JOHNSON CITY- Janice Ann Halman, 58, passed away on Wednesday (April 13, 2016) at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a member of Unity Fellowship Church where she loved working around the church and with the kids. Mrs. Halman worked the last several years with handicapped children at Boones Creek Elementary School. She loved her family dearly. She is preceded in death by her father, Sidney Wallace, maternal grandparents, Raymond and Maudie Trent, paternal grandparents, Luther and Bessie Wallace, two special uncles, Bill and Roy Trent, and her aunt, Ina Hurley. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Halman, son, Jonathan Halman, mother, Margaret Wallace, brother, Gene Wallace; aunts and uncles, Patsy and Richard Wagner, Barbara Trent and Floyd Hurley; cousins, Greg Wagner and Donna Osborne, and special friend, Tim Gross. The funeral service for Mrs. Halman will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, April 16th in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Entombment services will follow at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
