Jack Silvers

Jack Silvers, 86, Erwin passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Unicoi County and was a son of the late Thor Silvers and Florence Hensley Silvers. Jack had worked as a farmer most of his life. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Horace, Jake and Dewey Silvers. Survivors include his children, Sandy Carver of Flag Pond, Tim Silvers of Greeneville, TN and Joyce Shelton of Erwin; a sister, Dell Ledford of Erwin; three brothers, William “Luther” Silvers of Colorado, Harold Silvers and Worley Silvers both of Flag Pond; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Jack will be conducted at 4:30 PM Tuesday, March 15, 2022 in the Silvers Family Cemetery, Tipton Branch Road, Flag Pond, with Darrell Shelton officiating.
