So many good memories of our Eastern Star years. Hazel was a such a pleasant person to be around and a willing worker at anything she was called on to do. We did many Eastern Star projects together. One that I shall always remember is her installation as WM in the Eastern Star. She wanted it "nice" and "nice it was". Her color was purple. She and I went to Tennessee Florist and bought a load of purple flowers and spent several days arranging them just like she wanted. I don't think we worked all that long.....we took a few extended "breaks" to talk and laugh together. The chapter room and dining room was "blooming" in purple. Hazel put her whole heart into anything she did and many times spent her own money to make it like she wanted it. She was a 64 year member of the Eastern Star and an "unforgettable" sister and friend. A golden link has only temporarily fallen from our chain and our meeting is eternal. RIP sweet Hazel.
