Gladys Mitchem Bullis

Mrs. Gladys Bullis, 90, of Erwin Health Care Center passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2012 in the Unicoi County Hospital. She was a native of Davy, West Virginia and was a daughter of the late Floyd and Judy Mullon Mitchem. Mrs. Bullis was a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Bullis; four sisters, Eligh Greene, Genniva Childress, Effie Hunt and Juanita Hyder; eight brothers, Charlie, Junior, Ed, Willie, Oscar, Arlie, Deacon and Delmar Mitchem. She is survived by a brother, Dorsie Mitchem of North Carolina; a niece, Edna Hyder of Johnson City and many nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Mrs. Bullis will be conducted at 12:00 noon Friday, December 21, 2012 in the Washington County Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Steve Holtsclaw officiating. Everyone attending this service is asked to meet at the cemetery. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff and nurses at the Erwin Health Care Center and the Unicoi County Memorial Hospital.
