Frances Elizabeth Johnson

Frances E. Johnson, 79, of Johnson City passed away Monday, October 31, 2017 in the Hillview Health Center in Elizabethton. She was a native of Greene County and had lived in Johnson City most of her life. Mrs. Johnson was a daughter of the late Clarence and Ona Kirk Johnson. She had worked for Johnson City Medical Center for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jo Ward and two brothers, Charles and Harold Johnson. She is survived by a son, Donald Holland and his wife, Katrina of Walland, TN; two grandchildren, Andrew Holland and Harley Holland; two great-grandchildren, Trenton and Brooklynn Holland all of Walland; also several nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Mrs. Johnson will be conducted at 2:30 PM Friday, November 3, 2017 in the Happy Valley Memorial Park with Rev. Gene Deaton officiating. The family will receive friends at Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Pallbearers will be selected from the family and friends.Read Obituary
