Eugene Edward Wilson, 81, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014 in the Laughlin Memorial Hospital. He was a son of the late Charlie Wilson and Sue Guire Wilson Greene. Mr. Wilson had worked as a Physical Therapist for Laughlin Memorial Hospital. He was a veteran having served his country in the U.S. Air Force. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bessie Guire; aunt and uncle, Claude and Evelyn Sue Anderson; a sister, Mildred Hughes; a brother, Larry Greene; two brothers-in-law, Bobby Foreman and Ray Hughes; a sister-in-law, Novella Foreman; and a cousin, Donald Anderson; Survivors include his loving wife of 47 years, Charlsie Foreman Wilson of the home; a half-sister, Tressa Jessee and her husband, Vallis of Bristol, TN; a brother-in-law, Lowell Foreman; a sister-in-law, Marlene Wilhoit both of Greeneville; a nephew, Gene Egan and wife, Marsha of Kingsport; a niece, Tammy Brown and husband, Chris of Kingsport; a special cousin, Jerry Anderson of Johnson City; several nieces and nephews; also many special friends and neighbors. Graveside services for Mr. Wilson will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 1, 2014 in the Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Asheville Highway, Greeneville with Pastor Leon Simmons and Pastor Marci Cobb officiating. Active pallbearers will be Lyle Foreman, Junior Egan, Donald Collins, Vallis Jessee, Jerry (Petie) Southerland, Willis and Brent Ricker and Jeremy Southerland. The family will receive friends at Jeffers Mortuary 208 N. College Street, Greeneville, TN Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:30 PM then proceed to the cemetery for the service.
