Dwayne Charles White

Dwayne Charles White, 51, 126 Stage Road, Jonesborough passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 12, 2015 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County and the son of Conley and Elaine Conner White of Johnson City. Mr. White was of the Baptist Faith and was owner/operator of Sara Lee Food Service in Washington County. He enjoyed his family and loved riding his Harley-Davidson. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bob and Nell Conner and his paternal grandparents, Howard and Dorothy White. Survivors in addition to his parents includes his wife, Janet Teaster; a son, Colton H. White and Ashley Koch both of Nashville; a daughter, Chelsey R. Teaster and her fiance, Derrek Page of Elizabethton; a sister, Denise D. White of Jonesborough; two grandchildren, Olivia Riley White and Nolan Michael Page; a nephew, Christopher T. Bates of Jonesborough; Funeral services for Mr. White will be conducted at 7:00 PM Thursday, July 16, 2015 in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City with Rev. Gene Deaton officiating. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until the service hour.
