Dorothy L. Williams, 92, Johnson City passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at her home. She was a native of Wood County, Texas and the daughter of Grover and Vada Parks Knight. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank T. Williams; a daughter, Harriett Williams and a brother, Grover Knight. She is survived by a daughter, Melissa Noble of the home; a son, Frank Williams and his wife, Dee of Johnson City; a brother, John Knight of Texas; also a sister-in-law, Betty Statzula of New Mexico; She was blessed with four grandchildren, Dr. Gordon Williams and wife, Varink, Kevin L.Williams, Kelly M. Geer and Sarah Ford; six great-grandchildren, Monike, Grizel, Katherine and Natalia Williams and Chandler and Jalen Geer. She is also survived by a favorite nephew George Williams of Johnson City. Mrs. Williams loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Christian Church and retired from Pepsi-Cola Corporation. In accordance with her wishes a private family graveside service will be held Friday, August 16, 2013 in the Happy Valley Memorial Park. The family would like to thank all of the friends of the family who over the years visited with our mother-grandmother and to Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home for the way they have helped us in our time of grief with the loss of our mother-grandmother and sister-aunt Harriett Williams in such a short period of time.
