Dorothy Beatrice Freeman, 82, 2510 Louise Street, Johnson City passed away Friday, August 2, 2013 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Johnson City. Mrs. Freeman was a daughter of the late Robinette and Lola Carden Naff. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert J. Freeman in 2009; two brothers, Bill and Kenneth Naff. Survivors include a daughter, Joanne Golloday and husband, Richard of Johnson City; two sons, Jerry Freeman and Peggie of Clarksville, VA and Donnie Freeman of Johnson City; three brothers, Ernest Buck and wife, Peggy of Elizabethton, Joe Naff and wife, Rhonda of Jonesborough and Ray Carden of Johnson City; eight grandchildren, Brian, Tim and Brad Whitson, Scott, John and Nick Freeman, Crystal Horton and Dawn Wyatt; eight great-grandchildren, Brittany, Justin, Christopher, Andrew, Michael, Isabella, Jayden and Alexis; a very special friend, Margaret Tarlton; also several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Mrs. Freeman will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 6, 2013 in the Chapel of Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home with the Rev. David Montgomery officiating. Interment will follow in the Washington County Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 12:30 to 2:00 PM.
