Dorothy Ilene Dinger

Dorothy Ilene Dinger, 85, 512 Swadley Road, Johnson City passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 in the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Findlay, Illinois and was a daughter of the late Ray and Merle Heiland. Mrs. Dinger had worked for American Water Heaters and retired from Facet Fuel Devices. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Don and Dean Heiland. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Moore of Johnson City; two sons, Steven A, Dinger and his wife, Sally of Bristol and Bradley L. Dinger and his wife, Christie of Maryville; a brother, Henry Heiland and his wife, Doris of Decatur, Illinois; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mrs. Dinger will be conducted at 6:00 PM Saturday, June 4, 2016 in the West Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Avenue, Johnson City with Rev.
