Deborah "Debbie" Ann Owens

October 12, 1954 - January 5, 2022

Deborah (Debbie) Ann Owens, 67, Erwin passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was a native of Johnson City and was a daughter of the late Richard Whaley and Marie Elizabeth Lyle Whaley. Debbie was retired from the Unicoi County Hospital where she had worked in Food Service. She attended Fishery Union Church and Unicoi County Church of God. Survivors include a daughter, Heather Ebernickel and her husband, Adam of Erwin; a son, Jason Owens and his wife, Sara of Johnson City; a sister, Pamela Robinette and her husband, Robby of Erwin; her grandchildren, Caitlin Ebernickel and her fiancé, Colton Hensley, Alexander Ebernickel and his girlfriend, Lillian Lyons, Isaiah Ebernickel, Nicholas Owens and Bailey Owens; a niece, Ginger Matson and her husband, James; two great-nephews, Ben and Zech Matson. Graveside services for Debbie will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 11, 2022 in the Mausoleum Chapel at Evergreen Cemetery, 1100 7th Street, Erwin, TN with Rev. Kim Casey officiating. Pallbearers will be selected from the family and friends. For those attending you are asked to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 PM. Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home, 108 W. Watauga avenue, Johnson City is serving the Owens family. 423-928-2245
