Dean Howard Crum

Dean Howard Crum, 55 of Limestone, died unexpectedly Thursday, August 12, 2021 at his home.Dean was born January 16, 1966 in Oak Hill, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Ronald Crum and Opal Bridges. He was employed by Tupperware and LMR for many years.He is survived by one son, Brandon Crum and wife Brittney of Greeneville and one daughter, Ashley Crum of Jackson; his loving fiancé, Renee Thomas of West Memphis, AK; one brother, Shawn Crum and wife Tracy of Halls; one sister, Rhonda Marshall of Limestone; two grandsons, Brandon and Braysen Crum of Greeneville; several aunts, uncles and cousins; three nieces, one nephew and his “sidekicks”, Sandy and Fred.The Funeral Service for Dean will be held Thursday, August 19th, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the East Chapel of Appalachian Funeral Home, 800 E. Watauga Ave., Johnson City, TN 37601, with Roger Dye officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the East Chapel of the Funeral Home.The Graveside Committal Service and Interment will be held Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Huskey-Grove Cemetery in Sevierville. During this time, Dean’s family and friends will be given the opportunity to share a memory or story of their time with Dean.Active pallbearers will be; Jimmy Baker, Richie Trentham, Mike Morelock, Doug Ramsey, Jamie Ellenburg, and Doug Rose. Honorary pallbearers will be; his grandsons Brandon and Braysen Crum and Shawn Crum.In-lieu-of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to assist them with final expenses.Read Obituary
