Daniel Walter Honeycutt

Daniel W. Honeycutt, 58, 508 Glendale Drive, Johnson City passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, August 6, 2015 at his residence. He was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and was a son of the late Charles and Ida Harrell Honeycutt. Daniel was an over the road truck driver and was a member of the North Johnson City Baptist Church. He was a veteran having served his country in the U.S. Navy. Daniel was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and a Jeff Gordon fan. Survivors include his brother, Mike Honeycutt and his fiancee, Janice Donoho of Johnson City; his best friend and former wife, Debbie Fox of Gray; two nephews, Eric Janne of Johnson City and John Honeycutt of Las Vegas; a niece, Starla McCormick of Newport News, VA; a special great-niece, Yakira Janne, Johnson City; great niece, Debbie Janne of Baltimore; also several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services for Daniel will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 11, 2015 in the Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Dugger officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Jonesborough. Pallbearers will be selected from the family and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 PM until the service hour.
