Connie Faith Bowman, 59, Johnson City passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City and was a daughter of Shirley Taylor Kelly of Johnson City and the late SS James E. Bowman. She had worked as a caregiver for many years. Ms. Bowman was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her Fiance, Michael Lee Rhoten. Connie was a good and loyal daughter. Survivors in addition to her mother includes two sisters, Mary "Kitty" Holt and husband, Tom of Elizabethton and Kristi Kelly of Johnson City; a nephew, Preston Kelly Diamond of Johnson City; her step-father, Jack Kelly of Kenasaw, GA; a special cousin, Cynthia Scott of Florida and her faithful dog, Gulliver. A memorial service for Connie will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in the Woodall-Anderson and Dugger Funeral Home with Mr. Jack Kelly officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the service hour. Visitation: Wednesday January 21 2015 - 1:00 to 2:00 PM Services: Wednesday 2:00 PM Interment: NRead Obituary
