Clarence Stephen "Duke" Aldrich 1

Clarence Stephen “Duke” Aldrich 1, 65 of Watauga passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Marion, Ohio and was a son of the late Betty Irene Blair Williams and Don Williams of Watauga. Duke had worked in tree service for many years with Williams Tree Service. He was a member of the Tabernacle of the Living God Church. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Yourgulez and a son-in-law, Bill Potter.Survivors in addition to his father includes his children, Clarence Stephen Aldrich II of the home; Heather Potter of Jonesborough, April Aldrich of Erwin and Irene Kay Lewis of Richmond, IN; two brothers, Eric Williams and wife, Linda of Watauga and Jeff Aldrich of Elizabethton; a sister, Priscilla Lunsford and husband, Phil of Johnson City; grandchildren, Matoka, Michaellia, Miranda, Dakota, Stephen III, Tristan, Skylar, Ana, Diego, David and Jaylen; great-grandchildren, Braydon, Aaliyah, Raelynn and Noah; several nieces and nephews.Funeral services for Duke will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Tabernacle of the Living God Church, 406 E. Maple Street, Johnson City with Rev. Herman Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
